What you need to do in order to use our clearance services

  • Click on the tools section located in the menu above and select documents.
  • Download and complete the Courier Shipment Form (note there are two forms, one for businesses and one for personal shipments).  This only needs to be done once if you are using our clearance service for multiple shipments.
  • Contact the courier with your tracking # (UPS or FedEx) and let them know you have your own customs broker and that Bay City Brokers Ltd will be handling the customs clearance of your shipment.   UPS 1-800-742-5877 ext 3.    FedEx 1-800-G0-FedEx .
  • Email the courier shipment form to cs@baycitybrokers.com along with a copy of the invoice or order confirmation for your shipment.  Note if you do not have a scanner some clients take a picture with their phone and email us a picture of the form and invoice directly to us from their phone.  You can also fax us the form and a copy of the invoice to 1-866-806-3162.
  • We will work out the entry and email you back an invoice for payment along with three convenient payment options.
  • Once payment is made, you’re all set.  The courier (UPS or FedEx) will send us the clearance request, we will clear the shipment through customs and UPS will then delivery the goods to you without any collections invoice since we already handled the clearance for you.

Can I not clear my UPS packages myself?

Yes of course you can.  If you have a couple hours, a car, able to take time off work and deal with customs during business hours, then sure why not.
